A delegation comprising Mr. Abid K. Cheema, CEO of Silicon Village, and Mr. David Dai, Executive Director of Sino British Regional Development visited NUTECH to explore opportunities for institutional collaboration in innovation, technology, industry-academia engagement, investment, entrepreneurship, academic cooperation, and strategic partnerships. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on NUTECH's vision of becoming a "University for Industry", highlighting its industry-driven academic model, applied research ecosystem, and commitment to developing a highly skilled workforce equipped to meet emerging industrial and national requirements. Discussion focused on strengthening cooperation in innovation, technology, industry-academia linkages, investment, entrepreneurship, academic exchange, and strategic partnerships.
The delegation visited NUTECH's state-of-the-art laboratories, NUTECH Skills and Development Department (NSDD), NUTECH Innovation Center (NIC), and NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC). The visitors appreciated the University's advanced infrastructure, innovation-driven environment, and integrated approach to skills development, research, and entrepreneurship, expressing optimism for future collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
