A three-member delegation of AJK TEVTA led by the Chairman, visited NUTECH to explore strategic collaboration in technical and vocational education and training. The delegation was briefed on NUTECH’s skills development initiatives, industry-aligned curriculum and modern infrastructure. The Chairman appreciated the University’s role in promoting skill-based education and developing a workforce aligned with market needs. Both sides discussed potential areas of cooperation, including professional development courses, curriculum development, joint training initiatives and affiliations of AJK TVET Institutes with NUTECH. Later, the delegation also visited NUTECH’s laboratories, the Skills and Development Department (NSDD), Innovation Center (NIC) and Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC), where ongoing projects were showcased.
The visit concluded with a commitment to strengthen institutional linkages through the signing of an MoU to advance technical education standards across Azad Jammu & Kashmir region.
