The Literary and Debating Club of NUTECH, under the supervision of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), successfully organized a four-day Literary Week from 10-16 March, 2026 to promote intellectual discourse, critical thinking, and creative expression among students. The event provided a dynamic platform for students to demonstrate their academic and literary talents through debate competitions, essay writing contests, and poetry recitations. The activities encouraged analytical thinking and creativity while fostering a culture of healthy academic engagement across disciplines. The Literary Week also served as an internal qualifying round for the upcoming Higher Education Commission (HEC) National Competition, enabling students to prepare for national-level representation.
At the concluding ceremony, the Pro-Rector (P&R) awarded certificates to the winners. In Urdu Debate, winners included Amna Munir (IT 2024), Mubashir Rehman (CS 2025), and M. Shehryar Khan (ME 2025). In English Debate, winners were Aneeb Kashif (CS 2024), Syed Mohiz (AI 2024), and Muhammad Awais (AI 2024). Urdu Essay Winner was Sajjad Hussain (CE 2024) and Amna Mirza (AI 2025) was English Essay Winner. The event reflected NUTECH’s commitment to academic excellence and co-curricular development.
