Outside Class Learning Experience

NUTECH UG curriculum is broadly divided into two major learning segments of regular subjects and additional academic programs termed as Experiential Learning Programs (ELP). Experiential learning is an engaged learning process whereby students “learn by doing” and by reflecting on the experience. The high end taught theoretical and lab content as well as the Experiential Learning Programs contribute towards the overall learning cycle.

The ELP sets apart NUTECH from university education elsewhere in Pakistan.

There are a few Experiential Learning Programs each offered at a specific stage of UG degree. Each of the Experiential learning Program has its own specific learning objectives.

  • NUTECH Learning Communities Program (NLCP) is designed for Freshmen
  • NUTECH Personal Development Program (NPDP) is also designed for Freshmen
  • NUTECH Career Acceleration Program (NCAP) is offered to Sophomores
  • NUTECH Engineering Leadership Program (NELP) in third year and fourth year of UG Degree for Juniors & Seniors
  • Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP) in third year and fourth year of UG Degree for Juniors & Seniors
  • Industrial Learning Experience Program (ILEP) is offered every year for three years.
  • Four week Industrial & Creative Activity Term (ICAT) is also offered every year for four year.
