Welcome to the Biology Division of NUTECH School of Applied Sciences and Humanities (NUSASH)!

Biologists explore different mechanisms inside a living body that coordinate to perform different activities. Engineers while studying biology, can explore the underlying Engineering principles in various biological processes which can promote interdisciplinary research leading to the development of technologies. Computer Engineers with background knowledge of Biology can develop different software used to handle Biological data and can perform various analysis. We at NUTECH, promote a connective approach to the life sciences by providing Biology knowledge to the new generation of Engineers studying in different disciplines. Apart from supporting the Engineering disciplines we are also actively involved in conducting research in different domains of Biology including Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology and Drug discovery.

Objective

• To enhance the inter disciplinary research by combining Biology with other sciences to support future need in terms of medicines and agriculture
