11th Academic Council Meeting (ACM)

NUTECH being pioneer technology university of Pakistan is offering unique engineering technologies and TVET education programs to produce wholesome and technically sound workforce for national industries of Pakistan. Its 11^th Academic Council Meeting (ACM), chaired by Rector NUTECH, Lt Gen Khalid Asghar, (Retd) was held on 13 April 2021. Seventeen out of Twenty Agenda Points were approved. The Council approved launching of Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil Engineering) Program from fall 21. This is the first ever Cooperative Model four years Engineering Technology program conceived and designed in concert with construction industry of Pakistan. This BET (CE) program has already been inaugurated by President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi at NUTECH on 22 February 2021. As an elite Engineering Technology program, the students of Batch 2021 will be given full tuition fee scholarship besides making them fully employable with construction industries of Pakistan. NUTECH ACM also accorded approval for planning and conduct of Symposium on Karachi Industrial Plan besides other important decisions related to approval of curricula of various UG Engg programs, revised Academic Calendar 21/22, policies for affiliation of TVET Institutes with NUTECH, their registration  process and exams system, upgradation of 12 TVET institutes selected from all over Pakistan, TVET collaboration with Finland, provision of technical internees to Japan through TITP and establishment of state of the art UG labs block at NUTECH.
